Men's Soccer: Promotional Schedule Revealed

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – With the Save Face WVU Classic presented by Jerseys Subs slated to begin this Friday, West Virginia officials are planning several promotional days this fall for the Mountaineer men’s soccer season.
The season opener against No. 9 Monmouth on Friday, Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m., has been designated “Poster Night.” Fans can pick up a free men’s soccer poster featuring Nick Claudio, Shadow Sebele and Yale Tiley. WVU will also take on No. 17 UNC Wilmington on Sunday, Sept. 5, at 3:30 p.m., as part of the tournament.
The first of three “Dollar Days” will occur on Sunday, Sept. 19 at 3:30 p.m. when the Mountaineers take on James Madison. All tickets, hot dogs, popcorn and Coca-Colas are available for purchase for just one dollar. The other two “Dollar Days” are on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m., against Pitt and Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m., against Marquette.
The James Madison contest will also feature festivities celebrating US Youth Soccer Month.
Fans can pick up a free WVU t-shirt courtesy of EZToUse.com at the Saturday, Oct. 9, Notre Dame match. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
Three Mountaineers will be honored at “Senior Day” on Saturday, Oct. 23 against Seton Hall. Dan Hagey, Zach Johnson and Alex Silva will all be honored prior to the game.
