Track: WVU Represented Well at Nationals

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Seniors Keri Bland, Clara Grandt and Karly Hamric represent the West Virginia University track and field team well yesterday at the 2010 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Drake Stadium on the campus of Drake University, in Des Monies, Iowa.
Grandt finished ninth in the finals of the 10,000-meter race with a time of 33.22.54, for one of her best performances of the season.
Hamric also had a strong finish, as she placed 15th in the 1,500 meter. The Bruceton Mills, W.Va., native crossed the line with a time of 4:19.43, while Bland placed 20th in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:05.63.
The Mountaineers finished the outdoor season with four All-Americans, including Bland, Hamric, Grandt and senior Marie-Louise Asselin.
