MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University men’s soccer player Raymon Gaddis, who is playing for Reading United AC in the United Soccer League’s Premier Development League (PDL), was named to the PDL Team of the Week, recently.
An Indianapolis native, Gaddis scored one goal and helped lead his team record a pair of shutouts on the road to qualify for the U.S. Open Cup. To date, Gaddis has started all six matches, playing 540 minutes.
“Ray Gaddis has caused constant problems for opposing teams with his speed out of the back,” Reading United AC President Art Auchenbach said in the release.
Meanwhile, WVU and Reading United teammate Eric Schoenle also has been instrumental in the team’s success, starting all six matches, while recording one goal.
Reading United returns to action on Saturday, June 5, at home against the Carolina Dynamo.
