MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The Morgantown Police Department is reminding fans coming to tonight’s men’s basketball game that parking along Mon. Blvd as well as the adjacent city streets will not be a safe option because of the recent snowstorm. Vehicles that are blocking traveled portions of the roadway will be ticketed and towed. Police are suggesting that fans make alternative parking arrangements prior to tonight’s game.
The WVU PRT will be running for tonight’s game and will operate until 10 p.m.
Another suggested alternative is the gameday shuttle. Fans without reserved basketball parking are encouraged to use the gameday shuttle that leaves from the Green Lot on Van Voorhis Road (across from the United Center). Cost is $4 round trip and begins at 5 p.m. (two hours prior to tipoff). This service is available for every home men's basketball game and runs for approximately one hour after the game.
