Football: Jobe Receives ESPN/CoSIDA Honors

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – (November 4, 2010) – West Virginia University senior offensive lineman Eric Jobe was named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District Two first team today.
Jobe, who earned a spot on the all-district team for the second consecutive year, will advance to the national ballot for second round voting for inclusion on the All-America team.
In the classroom, he has posted a 3.50 grade point average, majoring in industrial engineering with a minor in business administration.
Jobe is a four-time dean’s list selection, three-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star, three-time WVU Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll honoree and a recipient of the Blue and Gold Academic Scholarship.
Jobe has been a starter on the offensive line for three seasons and helps anchor the offensive line. He has been used in more than 500 snaps this season, hasn’t surrendered a sack and has 14 knockdowns.
