MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Mountaineers’ 37-10 win over Cincinnati on Saturday, Nov. 13.
Offensive Champion – Geno Smith, Shawn Alston, Jock Sanders, Tavon Austin, Will Johnson, Tyler Urban, Jeff Braun, Eric Jobe, Joe Madsen, Josh Jenkins and Don Barclay; Defensive Champion – Keith Tandy; Special Teams Champion – Gregg Pugnetti; Offensive Scout Champion – Mike Calicchio; Defensive Scout Champion – Bobby Weston.
West Virginia (6-3, 2-2 BIG EAST) travels to Louisville, Ky., to face the Cardinals in Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 20, at noon. The game will be televised on the BIG EAST Network.
