Women's Soccer: Mischler Honored By CS360

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia women’s soccer player Megan Mischler was named a CollegeSoccer360 Primetime Performer of the Week today.

A Moon Township, Pa., native, Mischler scored three goals and tallied one assist in an undefeated week of conference play, helping West Virginia to a 3-0-0 record last week. Mischler scored a goal and handed out an assist in WVU’s shutout win at Cincinnati. The senior forward then scored two goals to propel the Mountaineers past Louisville, 2-1.

Mischler attempted 13 shots in the three games, including career highs of eight shots and six shots on-goal against the Cardinals. The two-goal effort was the third of Mischler’s career, and she now boasts 16 goals and six game-winners in her career.

Mischler is the second Mountaineer to be named a CollegeSoccer360 Primetime Performer this season as teammate Erica Henderson was recognized on Sept. 21.
