Football: USF Award Winners Picked

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Mountaineers’ 20-6 victory over USF on Thursday, Oct. 14.
Offensive Champion – Joe Madsen, Geno Smith and J.D. Woods; Defensive Champion – Scooter Berry, Chris Neild, Julian Miller, J.T. Thomas, Anthony Leonard, Najee Goode, Brandon Hogan, Terence Garvin, Robert Sands, Sidney Glover and Keith Tandy; Special Teams Champion – Cody Nutter; Offensive Scout Champion – Willie Milhouse; Defensive Scout Champion – Trevor Demko.
This week, WVU (5-1, 1-0 BIG EAST) faces Syracuse (4-2, 1-1 BIG EAST) at Milan Puskar Stadium (60,000) on Saturday, Oct. 23, at noon. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
