Track: Mountaineers Travel To Durham

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University track and field team travels to Durham, N.C., to compete in the annual Duke/asics Invitational on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4, at Wallace Wade Stadium on the campus of Duke University.
The meet begins on Friday with the men’s and women’s field events at noon, followed by the running events at 4:30 p.m. Saturday’s schedule begins at 9 a.m. with both field and running events.
“This is a huge meet and Duke is a great place for us to compete as an entire team,” comments Coach Sean Cleary. “The weather is supposed to be nice and we are looking forward to some great competition.”
The Invitational will include student-athletes from over 50 colleges and universities, as well as several competitive club teams and athletes will who compete unattached.
