MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women’s soccer team resumes its spring season with a home match against Purdue Saturday, April 18, at 7 p.m., at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.
Saturday’s 90-minute match against the Boilermakers is the fifth opponent of the spring exhibition season for WVU. The Mountaineers have already played Penn State, Tennessee, Georgia and Pitt.
“We have made progress this spring as a team and we need to continue our development this weekend,” says Head Coach Nikki Izzo-Brown. “Purdue is a good, physical team from the Big Ten Conference. Playing against different styles will only help us improve as we wrap up this spring season.”
Admission is free and open to the public for all home spring women’s soccer contests.
