MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performance in the Connecticut game on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Offensive Champion –Noel Devine, Jock Sanders; Special Mention: Tyler Urban, Ryan Clarke; Defensive Champion – Sidney Glover; Special Mention: Anthony Leonard, Chris Neild; Special Teams Champion – Tavon Austin; Special Mention: Anthony Wood; Offensive Scout Champion – Peyton Brooks; Defensive Scout Champion – Darwin Cook.
The Mountaineers (6-1, 2-0 Big East) travel to Tampa, Fla., to face USF in a Big East Conference contest at Raymond James Stadium on Friday, Oct. 30, at 8 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
