Men's Basketball: Television Schedule Set

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia University and the BIG EAST have announced the television schedule for the 2009-10 men’s basketball season.
The Mountaineers will have at least 29 of their 30 regular season games broadcast, including 17 regular season games on national television. WVU will have three games on CBS (at Seton Hall, Ohio State, at Villanova) and three games on ESPN’s Big Monday (Villanova, at UConn, Georgetown). Syracuse, Louisville, at Pitt, Seton Hall and at Purdue will also be televised by ESPN. The Ole Miss contest is slated for ESPN2.
West Virginia will have at least three regular season games on ESPNU (at Notre Dame, at St. John’s and against Long Beach State in Anaheim, Calif.). The second day of the 76 Classic in Anaheim will be televised by ESPN/ESPNU, while the final day of the tournament will be televised by ESPN2/ESPNU.
The BIG EAST Network will televise 10 West Virginia contests, including the Cincinnati game, which will be the BIG EAST Game of the Week. The Marshall game will be televised by the Capital Classic Network. At least three games will be available for live streaming on MSNsportsNET.com.
For the first day of the BIG EAST Championship, ESPN2 will carry the afternoon doubleheader and ESPNU will telecast the evening doubleheader. The remaining sessions will air on ESPN.
