MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia plays host to Colorado tonight in a 7:30 pm game at Milan Puskar Stadium that will air nationally on ESPN (Chris Fowler, Craig James, Jesse Palmer and Erin Andrews).
The Buffaloes (1-2) defeated West Virginia (2-1) in Boulder last year 17-14 in overtime. Colorado is making its first ever appearance to Morgantown. West Virginia University great Major Harris is being honored today, first during a luncheon at the Waterfront Place Hotel and then later tonight during the game during a brief on-field ceremony.
Harris became the 11th former Mountaineer to be enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame.
Tonight's game is Gold Rush with all fans encouraged to wear gold to the stadium tonight.

10 – West Virginia has won TEN times against teams from the Big XII Conference. The Mountaineers’ last victory over a Big XII team came in the 2007 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl when they defeated Oklahoma 48-28.
9 – The Mountaineers have had NINE plays from scrimmage covering 30 yards or longer, including Noel Devine’s 71-yard touchdown run at Auburn.
8 – Colorado is averaging EIGHT penalties per game. The Buffs have been whistled 24 times for 246 yards.
7 – Colorado has lost its last SEVEN road games dating back to 2007. The Buffaloes last won a road game at Texas Tech on Oct. 27, 2007 (31-26).
6 – West Virginia has won all SIX times it has played at Milan Puskar Stadium during Thursday night ESPN games. The Mountaineers are 33-30-2 all-time on Thursdays.
5 – West Virginia has played FIVE times against schools from Colorado with four of those meetings coming against Colorado State, which made appearances in Morgantown in 1970 and 1981.
4 – The Colorado defense has picked off FOUR passes this year.
3 – Running back Noel Devine ran for THREE touchdowns in his last game at Auburn on Sept. 19. Devine shows 320 yards rushing and five touchdowns so far this year.
2 – Colorado quarterback Cody Hawkins fired TWO first-half touchdown passes against West Virginia during last year’s 17-14 Colorado win in Boulder.
1 – Colorado is making its FIRST trip to Milan Puskar Stadium.
