Football: White, McAfee Named ECAC All-Stars

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Quarterback Pat White and place kicker/punter Pat McAfee have been named to the 2008 Eastern College Athletic Conference All-Star Team.
White, who was the 2006 ECAC Player of the Year,enjoyed his most prolific season through the air after racking up a career-best 1,842 yards passing with 21 touchdowns. The Daphne, Ala., native also garnered a 142.35 pass efficiency rating.
The two-time Big East Offensive Player of the Year also ran for 974 yards with eight scores. He moved into the top spot on the NCAA career quarterback rushing list and finishes with 4,330 yards for his career.
McAfee, a Ray Guy Award finalist, averaged a career-best 44.7 yards per punt. The Plum, Pa., native finishes his career as the school's all-time career points leader.
McAfee also ended his senior year making 17-of-20 field goals, including making both of his attempts from 52 yards.
Junior Donald Brown of Connecticut was chosen as the ECAC Player of the Year, while Navy defensive lineman Jabaree Tuani was chosen as the ECAC Rookie of the Year.
