Good Night's Sleep

The latest Accuweather forecast has Tropical Storm Hanna reaching the Carolinas sometime Friday night and passing through Greenville during the early morning hours well ahead of West Virginia’s slated 4:30 pm kickoff against East Carolina Saturday evening.
All that should be left to deal with is any standing water remaining on the field.
Once a Category 1 Hurricane, Hanna has been downgraded to Tropical Storm status with maximum sustained winds of 65 mph. As of 10 am, the outer belts of the storm have already reached Florida.
The team is scheduled to arrive in Greenville early Friday afternoon and have a walkthrough at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. After that it’s back to the team hotel for dinner and a movie before hunkering down for the night.
With Hanna bringing high winds and heavy rain, power outage in the Greenville area is expected. I am told the team hotel has a backup generator in case of a loss of power.
Therefore, performance on Saturday could very well be predicated by which team can get a better night’s sleep.
