MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia University will hold its 18th annual Sports Hall of Fame induction on Saturday, Oct. 4, prior to the WVU-Rutgers football game.
Induction ceremonies will begin at 9:30 a.m., in the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility. The public is invited to attend and the event is free of charge.
The 2008 class includes Eddie Bartrug (football), Bob Gresham (football), E. Roy Lester (football-basketball-baseball), Lowes Moore (basketball), Dr. Martin Pushkin (track and field/cross country coach) and James Sottile (basketball).
This class brings the number of total inductees to 115.
