Men's Basketball: Tickets to Go on Sale

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Season tickets for West Virginia’s 2008-09 basketball campaign will go on sale Monday, Sept. 22, at the Mountaineer Ticket Office. Single game non-conference tickets will also go on sale Monday.
West Virginia will play 15 home games at the WVU Coliseum. The Mountaineers are coming off a 26-11 season and a Sweet 16 appearance under Coach Bob Huggins.
The Mountaineers will open the schedule at home against Mountain State in an exhibition game on Saturday, Nov. 8. BIG EAST schools visiting Morgantown will be Connecticut, Pitt, Louisville, USF, St. John’s, Providence, Villanova, Notre Dame and DePaul. Elon, Longwood, Cleveland State, Miami University and Radford will all visit the Coliseum in non-league action.
The price of an upper level season ticket is $330. Lower level seats are only available to renewing season ticket holders. Faculty/staff can purchase up to six season tickets at a discounted rate. Individual tickets for non-conference games are priced at $22 each.
Mountaineer Athletic Club members and past season ticket holders must order their tickets by Oct. 17 to reserve priority seating. Order forms are being mailed to MAC members and past season ticket holders.
