Kyle Cooper enters his second season as a graduate assistant on the Mountaineer basketball staff.
A native of Waterford, Pa., Cooper is responsible for assisting in the overall day-to-day operation of the program, on-campus recruiting and the West Virginia University women’s basketball summer camps.
Cooper is entering his fourth overall season with the Mountaineer women’s basketball team after serving as head manager in 2006-07 and 2007-08.
Prior to his stint with WVU women’s basketball, Cooper served two seasons as a manager with the Mountaineer men’s basketball team from 2004-06.
He has also been active in the development of area youth (elementary to high school) basketball.
Cooper graduated from WVU in 2008 with a dual bachelor’s degree in sport management and athletic coaching education. He’s currently pursuing his master’s in educational leadership with a focus on higher education from WVU.
