Brandon Daniels enters his third season with the Mountaineers and his first as a volunteer assistant. He served as the program’s director of soccer operations and manger last season.
Daniels assists in all aspects of the WVU men’s soccer program, including training sessions, video analysis, and game-day responsibilities. He also assists with the team’s soccer camps as a staff instructor, where he organizes technical/functional training session for elite level players.
In the spring of 2009, Daniels coached the West Virginia United U-17 boy’s team to a PA West Premier B League Championship and a West Virginia state cup semifinal appearance.
The New Orleans native earned a bachelor of arts in political science in 2006 and a master of science in athletic coaching education in 2008 – both from WVU.
A member of the NSCAA, Daniels obtained his NSCAA National Diploma in 2008. He was a member of the Lafreniere Select Soccer Team, a three-time Louisiana State finalist and a member of the Jesuit High soccer team. Daniels also helped lead his squad to capture the Louisiana State championship in 2002 and was a member of the Lafreniere Super Y-League Team that won the Gulf Region championship in 2001.
Daniels resides in Morgantown.
