Football: ECU Game to Air on ESPN

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The kickoff time for the West Virginia-East Carolina contest on September 6 in Greenville, N.C., has been set for 4:30 p.m. (ET) and will be broadcast on ESPN.

The Mountaineers, who holds a 17-2 series record, including a 6-1 mark in Greenville, will be making their first trip to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium since posting a 27-10 victory over the Pirates on Sept. 23, 2006.

Last season, West Virginia defeated ECU, 48-7, in Morgantown, on Sept. 22, marking the seventh-straight win over the Pirates.

The Mountaineers open their season on Aug. 30 at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium against Villanova
