MAC: Showcase of Champions

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Have you ever wanted to go to the Masters or the Kentucky Derby? Or how about a vacation in Aruba? These and other one-of-a-kind opportunities are coming up soon, thanks to the Mountaineer Athletic Club and Brickstreet Insurance.
The first Showcase of Champions, presented by BrickStreet Insurance, will be held at the Marriott Town Center in Charleston on Wednesday, June 4th, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The reception will feature live and silent auction items, memorabilia, music and celebrity guests with both recent and historical ties to WVU athletics.
This new event is being held in conjunction with the 26th annual WVU Classic, slated for Berry Hills Country Club on June 5th and 6th.
Niles Eggleston, Executive Director of the MAC, said, “We’re excited about this showcase that will give our fans access to unique items and experiences that simply aren’t available anywhere else. It’s our way of saying thanks for your support and at the same time fund scholarships for our student-athletes.”
Greg Burton, President & CEO of Brickstreet, added, “We’re delighted to bring this new event to Charleston as an add-on to the WVU Classic. It’s a wonderful opportunity to have fun and raise funds for a program that has achieved national prominence, both on the field and in the class room .”
