Swimming: Delic Named Academic All-District

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University swimmer Nick Delic has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 2 first team announced by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) officials today.
The Split, Croatia, native earned six All-America honors over the course of his career. He leaves WVU with or as part of four school records, one WVU Natatorium record and three BIG EAST Conference records.
Delic, a senior who boasted a 3.62 grade point average in finance, has been a member of WVU’s Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and is a BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
To qualify for the all-academic teams, student-athletes must have a minimum GPA of 3.21. Student-athletes are nominated by their respective sports information directors and are voted on by members of CoSIDA.
