MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia baseball team will play host to Youngstown State in a mid-week match up today, at Hawley Field. The game has been moved up from its previously scheduled time of 7:05 p.m. and is just one nine-inning game instead of a doubleheader.

Third baseman Vince Belnome leads WVU with 64 RBIs and has a .416 batting average on the season while freshman second baseman Jedd Gyorko has a .416 average on the season.
WVU went 2-1 on the weekend, taking the Louisville series in game three in 10 innings. After a 2:13 rain delay on Sunday, the Mountaineers scored two runs to tie the score at four before Vince Belnome hit the game winning hit and RBI to drive in Kuhn for the win.
The game will be aired on U-92 student radio station.
