Baseball: Senior Tyler Kuhn Earns BIG EAST Honor

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Senior Tyler Kuhn has been named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll as announced by the league office. The Louisville, Ky., had 11 runs on 15 hits, including six doubles, one triple and one home run to lead West Virginia to a 4-1 record last week.
The shortstop added seven RBIs and closed the week with a .600 batting average against BIG EAST foe USF.
WVU won its second BIG EAST series against USF, taking two of three games. Earlier in the week, WVU defeated Maryland Eastern-Shore twice in a doubleheader, as Head Coach Greg Van Zant earned his 400th career win.
It is the sixth consecutive week that WVU has had a player recognized by the league. The Mountaineers will play host to Ohio University on Wednesday, April 9. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. at Hawley Field.
