Women's Basketball: Bulger in 3-Point Contest

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Senior guard Meg Bulger will compete in the 20th Annual ESPN College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships, Thursday, April 3, at St. Mary’s University’s Greehey Arena in San Antonio. The event will be broadcast on ESPN from 9-11 p.m. (EDT).
Bulger is one of seven graduating seniors from around the country competing in the women’s 3-point shoot out joining Marcilla Packer (Ohio State), Allie Quigley (DePaul), Maurita Reid (Miami), Chioma Nnamaka (Georgia Tech), Joyce Ekworomadu (Texas State) and Kiki Lund (Dayton).
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. They can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com, by calling (866) 666-8932 or at the door.
Bulger finished her career as one the best outside shooters in Mountaineer history, amassing 265 3-pointers made during her career (second all-time at WVU). She is West Virginia’s all-timer career 3-point field percentage leader at 43.7%.
