MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Senior Kevin Donohue completed his trip to the 2008 NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash., today finishing 21st in the 200 breast.
Donohue stopped the clock at 1:58.90, respectively.
In yesterday’s competition, Donohue earned All-American honors for his 5th place finish in the 100 breast. Donohue finished with a time of 53:15, to become the first-ever swimmer at WVU to be named an All-American in an individual event.
Donohue was the only Mountaineer from the men’s team to travel to the NCAA Championships after posting two automatic qualifying times at the BIG EAST Championships on Feb 20-23.
This season at the BIG EAST Championships the WVU men’s swimming and diving team posted a fourth-place finish, while also breaking three meet records.
