Swimming: Donohue Heads to NCAA Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Senior Kevin Donohue will travel to the 2008 NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash., on March 27-29.
Donohue posted automatic qualifying times in both the 100 and 200 breast events at the BIG EAST Championships this year.
In 100 breast event, Donohue broke both a BIG EAST Championship and school record with his first place time of 53.07, setting him in fifth place in the country. In the 200 breast, Donohue once again broke a meet and school record with a time of 1:55.78, which puts him in fourth place in the country.
This season at the BIG EAST Championships the WVU men’s swimming and diving team posted a fourth place finish, while also breaking three meet records.
