“Overall, our team score is not one of our best but we’re not out of the running,” comments Head Coach Jon Hammond. “We are sitting in fourth place right now and we can make some points up in the air rifle event. We’ve been improving the last few months in that event and hope to shoot well.”
The championships will continue tomorrow when the eight squads will compete in the air rifle event. The competition is slated to begin at noon at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center.
