MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University women’s basketball Head Coach Mike Carey announced today that LaQuita Owens, a 5-9, senior shooting guard from Charlotte, N.C., has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.
No. 13/13 West Virginia (21-4, 10-2) returns to action Saturday, Feb. 23, at 4 p.m. when it takes on Villanova (15-11, 5-8) at the WVU Coliseum.
