MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding play in the 34-17 win against Auburn this past Thursday.
Offensive Champion -Pat White, Alric Arnett, Dorrell Jalloh, Ryan Stanchek, Greg Isdaner and Noel Devine.
Defensive Champion - the entire defense: Chris Neild, Doug Slavonic, Scooter Berry, Mortty Ivy, Anthony Leonard, J.T. Thomas, Sidney Glover, Robert Sands, Quinton Andrews, Ellis Lanskter and Brandon Hogan.
Special Teams Champion - Adam Hughes, Jeremy Kash, Stephen Maw, Eric Jobe; Offensive Scout Champion - Scott Loving.
Defensive Scout Champion - Casey Vance; Special Teams Scout Champion - None.
The Mountaineers (5-2, 2-0 BIG EAST) travel to East Hartford, Conn., to face Connecticut (6-2, 2-1 BIG EAST) in BIG EAST Conference action on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Noon.
