Football: Syracuse Award Winners

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding play in the17-6 win against Syracuse this past Saturday.

Offensive Champion – Noel Devine; Defensive Champion – Mortty Ivy; Special Teams Champion – Pat McAfee, Adam Hughes; Offensive Scout Champion – Chris Martin; Defensive Scout Champion – Zach Flynt; Special Teams Scout Champion – None.

The Mountaineers (4-2, 2-0 BIG EAST) host Southeastern Conference opponent Auburn (4-3, 2-3 SEC) in a nationally televised ESPN Thursday night contest at 7:30 p.m., on Oct. 23.
