Volleyball: Mountaineers Fall to DePaul

The Mountaineers are now 6-12, 0-6 BIG EAST after the Blue Demons (2-16, 1-5) defeated them in a 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 26, 24) match.
Despite the loss, senior middle blocker Lisa Hough led the Mountaineers with eight kills and a .500 hitting percentage. Freshman outside hitter Kylie Armbruster followed with seven kills and a team-high 10 digs.
Freshman setter Kari Post led the team in assists with 24, while also recording nine digs and three kills.
As a team the Mountaineers posted 31 total kills and four team blocks.
The Mountaineers continue action on Friday, Oct. 17, with a 7 p.m. match against conference rival Pitt, at the Fitzgerald Field House in Pittsburgh, Pa.
