Volleyball: Mountaineers Drop Three to Notre Dame

The Irish defeated the Mountaineers in a 3-0 (13-25, 13-25, 17-25) match.
Freshman setter Kari Post led the Mountaineers with 17 assists, three kills, three digs and one service ace.
Freshman outside hitter Michelle Kopecky led the team in kills with seven, while senior middle blocker Tammy Wolf followed with six. Sophomore libero Bonnie West led both teams in digs with 10 giving her 278 total on the season.
As a team, WVU posted 31 digs and 24 kills.
The Mountaineers will continue action with a 2 p.m. match on Sunday, Oct. 12, against DePaul at the McGrath Arena in Chicago, Ill.
