MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia PBS will re-air West Virginia University’s thrilling 63-54 women’s basketball victory over No. 4/4 Rutgers, Thursday, Jan. 31, at 9:30 p.m.
The No. 12/12 Mountaineers (17-3, 6-1) knocked off the Scarlet Knights (17-3, 7-1) yesterday at the WVU Coliseum, marking the highest ranked opponent WVU has ever defeated in women’s basketball. WVU ran its home win streak to 15, including 11 straight in BIG EAST play. The victory also snapped Rutgers’ 12-game win streak.
The Mountaineers return to action, Sunday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. when they take on Seton Hall (13-6, 3-4) at Walsh Gymnasium in South Orange, N.J.
