Women's Basketball: Season Tickets on Sale Monday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University Ticket Manager Debby Travinski today announced that 2007-08 women’s basketball season tickets will go on sale Monday, October 1.
Season tickets for WVU’s 12-game home schedule will cost $60 each for lower level reserved seating in the WVU Coliseum. Season tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-WVU GAME.
WVU, which is ranked in the Top 25 in several preseason publications, will play host to national runner-up Rutgers and 2007 NCAA Tournament participants and BIG EAST rivals Marquette, Pitt, DePaul and Louisville, among others, at the WVU Coliseum.
Travinski also announced the ticket prices for WVU’s contest with defending national champion Tennessee, Nov. 21, in Charleston, at the Charleston Civic Center. Lower level sideline seats will cost $12 each while lower level baseline seats will cost $7 each. Groups of 10 or more can purchase lower level baseline tickets for $5 each.
Tickets to the Tennessee contest can be purchased by calling 1-800-WVU GAME or online via www.WVUGame.com.
Preseason practice for the 2007-08 season will open on Friday, Oct. 12, at the WVU Coliseum with Mountaineer Madness. WVU will play host to Concord on Sunday, Nov. 4, in an exhibition game before opening regular season play with a home contest against Canisius Friday, Nov. 9.
