Volleyball: Mountaineers Open BIG EAST Play

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University volleyball team will open BIG EAST play this weekend at the WVU Coliseum, on Friday, Sept. 21, against DePaul.
The Mountaineers, now 8-4, are coming of a 1-2 showing at the Friends of Coal Blue/Green Classic, in Charleston, W.Va., last weekend in which they posted a win over Akron and losses to Marshall and Pepperdine.
DePaul comes to Morgantown with a 4-9 record after being defeated by Western Illinois on Tuesday. Last season, the Mountaineers defeated DePaul (3-0) in Chicago giving the Mountaineers a 2-1 advantage in their all-time series record.
The Mountaineers will also face Notre Dame on Sunday, Sept. 23, at 2 p.m., at the WVU Coliseum.
