109 WVU Athletes Named BIG EAST Academic All-Stars

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The BIG EAST conference has named 109 West Virginia University student-athletes as BIG EAST Academic All-Stars for the 2006-07 academic year.
To be eligible, student-athletes must have earned a varsity letter and maintained a minimum 3.0 GPA for the both the fall and spring semesters. The list includes all BIG EAST sports except football.
The women’s swimming & diving team led the way with 16 honorees while the track team had 15 individuals recognized and the men’s soccer team had 13 student-athletes named. The student-athletes honored in their respective sports are listed below:
