Football: Mountaineers Add WR

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- Receiver Alric Arnett has signed a national letter-of-intent to attend West Virginia University, WVU football coach Rich Rodriguez announced today.

Arnett, who is 6-2, 195 lbs., was ranked among the top 50 junior college performers in America for his efforts at Butler (Kan.) Community College. He had 35 catches for 758 yards and eight scores last season for Coach Troy Morrell.

He is a graduate of Glades Central High School in Bell Glade, Fla. As a senior for Coach Larry Coffey, Arnett had 24 catches for 573 yards and seven touchdowns. He was the 400-meter state champion as a junior and senior and also a part of the state champion 4x400 relay team both years.
