Women's Basketball: Alumni Chapter Plans Reception

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Hill Country Mountaineer Alumni Chapter of Central Texas will host a “Meet and Greet” reception prior to West Virginia University’s NCAA tournament basketball game against Xavier in Austin, Texas.

The reception will take place on Saturday, March 17, at 4:45 pm at the Embassy Suites North in Austin.

No. 11-seeded West Virginia takes on No. 6 seed Xavier in an NCAA tournament first round game at the Frank Erwin Center on Saturday night at 7 pm local time. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.

It is West Virginia’s fourth appearance in the NCAA tournament and the second under sixth-year coach Mike Carey.
