MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - A statement from WVU Director of Athletics Ed Pastilong concerning the Mountaineer football program:

“We thank Rich Rodriguez for the job of continuing and building on the success of the football program at West Virginia University. We will begin our search for a new coach immediately, and we will look to bring another outstanding football coach to Morgantown who will continue our tradition of success.”
