Basketball: Family Day/Food Drive Saturday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University’s basketball doubleheader Saturday, Dec. 15, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the WVU Coliseum when the Mountaineer women’s team (8-1) takes on Presbyterian (1-8), has been designated a WAJR/WVAQ Coca-Cola Family Day. The men’s team (7-1) entertains UMBC (7-3) at 4 p.m.
For the low price of only $55, fans can receive four tickets to Saturday’s games plus four Coca-Colas, four hot dogs and one bucket of popcorn. Tickets can be ordered through the Mountaineer Ticket Office at 1-800-WVU GAME until 5 p.m. on Friday
Saturday’s doubleheader will also feature a food drive where fans can bring a non-perishable food item to the WVU Coliseum and receive a coupon good for one free ticket to a future women’s basketball contest. Collection points for the drive will be at the blue, gold and red gates. Food will also be collected at the men’s game.
