Wrestling: WVU Open Cancelled

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University Open slated for Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Shell Building in Morgantown, W.Va., has been cancelled.
The long-standing exhibition featuring several schools participating in scrimmages throughout the day will not occur as the wrestling squad prepares for the season.
WVU opens their regular season on Sunday, Nov. 18, in a dual meet against both Sacred Heart and preseason No. 3 ranked Iowa State at Binghamton University in Vestal, N.Y.
WVU faces Sacred Heart at 9:30 a.m. and Iowa State at 1:15 p.m.
