MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia women’s soccer team will play Penn State Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. in an NCAA tournament's round of 16 match at Jeffrey Field.
The No. 1-seeded Lions defeated Hofstra, 2-1 in overtime to advance to the round of 16 on Monday night. The match was moved to Monday due to a November snowstorm that forced Saturday’s match to be canceled.
No. 4-seeded West Virginia is making its second round of 16 appearance in school history after knocking off Navy and James Madison in Morgantown last weekend.
MSNsportsNET.com will provide free audio coverage of the Penn State match.
