I can’t believe it is November already. Time sure does fly! The past few weeks have been filled with a combination of hard work and fun. The coaching staff surprised us with a Halloween party. They gave us quite a scare, however - they had many fun games and activities planned for us. We also got to participate in the Homecoming parade that evening.
That same weekend, the team went to Fright Farm. Our tickets included a tent where we had an area to make a fire so we could roast marshmallows and make s’mores. This was something new and exciting. It was a good team bonding experience as we all went through the haunted house with linked arms, scared to death. We all survived though!
As far as gymnastics goes, everyone has been working really hard and is looking great in the gym! I can tell we are going to have a great season. The freshmen are transitioning really well. We are starting to have more intra-squads on each event. Bars have really stood out in the past few weeks as the top eight girls show strong and consistent routines. With Thanksgiving break right around the corner, we have to try and stay focused and work really hard the next few weeks for the upcoming Turkey and Indian intra-squad.
Keep up the good work girls!
