MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University men’s soccer team (6-4, 2-3) fell from No. 13 to No. 19 in the weekly NSCAA/adidas poll released today. The Mountaineers went 0-1 last weekend, falling to then-No. 3 Notre Dame on Saturday, Oct. 6.
BIG EAST foe Connecticut (10-1-0) earned top honors at No. 1 followed by Wake Forest (7-0-2) and Notre Dame (7-1-2). No. 4 Virginia (7-1-2) and No. 5 Santa Clara (7-1-2) round out the top five.
Next up, the Mountaineers will travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers for a midweek conference face off, Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m.
