Volleyball: Mountaineers Sweep Robert Morris

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University volleyball team improved its record to 10-7 today as it defeated Robert Morris at the Charles L. Sewall Center.
The Mountaineers won the match 3-0 (30-20, 33-31, 30-22).
Leading the Mountaineers was senior outside hitter Abby Tevis who recorded 12 kills with a .333 hitting percentage. Senior setter Kailee Goold also had a stand-out game with 16 assists and three service aces.
The win gives the Mountaineers a 15-3 advantage over the Colonials (10-7) in their all-time series record.
The Mountaineers will return to BIG EAST action this weekend as they host Villanova on Saturday, Oct. 6, and Seton Hall on Sunday, Oct. 7. Both matches are set for 2 p.m.
