Rifle: WVU Ranked No. 6 By CRCA

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The West Virginia University rifle team is tied for sixth in the first Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) poll of the 2007-08 season.

The rifle squad is currently 2-0 defeating both NC State and OSU in their two intercollegiate matches this season. The CRCA rankings are computed from each squads current scores. The next poll will be released at the end of October.

The team will host Ole Miss on Saturday, Oct. 27, before hosting national powerhouse Army on Sunday, Oct. 28. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. in the Mountaineer Rifle Range.
