Volleyball: Mountaineers Drop Three to Pitt

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.- The West Virginia University volleyball team dropped three games to Pitt this evening at the WVU Coliseum.
The Panthers (13-10, 6-3) defeated the Mountaineers (12-10, 3-6) in a 3-0 (30-22, 30-27, 30-22) match.
Junior middle blocker Tammy Wolf led the Mountaineers in kills this evening with 12, while freshman libero Bonnie West posted 19 digs. Senior setter Kailee Goold captured her fifth consecutive double-double of the season with 37 assists and 11 digs.
The Mountaineers will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 23, as they travel to face Youngstown State, at the Beeghly Center. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
