Men's Soccer: WVU To Play Host To Hoyas

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University men’s soccer team (7-4-0, 3-3-0) returns home to play host to Georgetown (3-8-0, 2-4-0) on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. The match will be the first of three straight home games for WVU, its longest home stint of the season.
The Mountaineers and Hoyas have met a total of 11 times with Georgetown holding an 8-3-0 all-time advantage over WVU in the series. Last season, WVU defeated GU 2-0 on the road on Oct. 14.
WVU defeated Pitt 3-1 on Wednesday, Oct. 10, in Pittsburgh. Sophomore Alex Erwin scored his first collegiate goal while senior Andy Wright found the back of the net twice.
