Swimming: Mountaineers To Swim In WVU Relay Meet

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams are set to begin the 2007-08 regular season with the WVU Relay Meet, on Saturday, Oct. 13, at the natatorium. The meet is set to begin at 11 a.m.
The Mountaineers will play host to West Virginia Wesleyan and Wheeling Jesuit in the event.
Last weekend the Mountaineers competed in the annual Blue/Gold Meet with Lewis University in which the swimmers got a chance to compete before the start of the regular season.
The Mountaineers are coming off a fantastic 2006-07 season with the men’s team winning the BIG EAST Championship and the women’s team finishing in third.
